Do you qualify?
Generally speaking, adults with an initial body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater will be considered for these medications. Patients with an initial BMI of 27 or greater who also have at least one weight-related comorbid condition (including hypertension, diabetes, a strong family history of heart disease, etc.) may also be candidates. We will review each situation on a case-by-case basis.
